The Indian cricket team has arrived in Zimbabwe for a three-match T20I series, beginning on July 23. All three matches will be played at Harare Sports Club, with each game scheduled to start at 4:30 PM IST.
Shreyas Iyer will continue to lead the side after taking over the captaincy during the Ireland T20I series. Although India are still searching for their first victory under his leadership following 2-0 and 4-0 series defeats against Ireland and England respectively, Iyer impressed with the bat, finishing as India’s highest run-scorer in the England series with 218 runs.
The UK tour also saw promising youngsters Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Suryansh Shedge, and Prince Yadav make their international debuts. For the Zimbabwe tour, India have rested several regular T20I stars and opted for a youthful squad. Prabhsimran Singh, Harsh Dubey, Ashok Sharma, Mayank Yadav, and Yash Thakur have been included, while Rinku Singh returns to the national setup.
