Sher-E-Punjab T20 League 2026: Schedule, Squads & Live Telecast

The stage is set for the Sher-E-Punjab T20 League 2026, with six teams preparing to compete for the coveted title. The tournament will bring together Punjab’s established stars and promising young cricketers, offering fans two weeks of exciting T20 action at the I.S. Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

The league will begin on August 30 and continue until September 13, with 27 matches scheduled throughout the competition. With several talented players expected to feature, the tournament promises intense contests and plenty of entertainment for cricket fans.

Six Teams Divided Into Two Groups

The six franchises have been split into two groups. Group A includes Mohali Kings, Fazilka Falcons and Jalandhar Warriors, while Group B consists of Bathinda Royals, Amritsar Soormas and Ludhiana Lions.

The tournament will get underway on August 30 when Amritsar Soormas face Mohali Kings in the opening match. Both sides will be eager to begin their campaigns with a victory and gain early momentum.

The action will continue on August 31, with Jalandhar Warriors taking on Fazilka Falcons in the afternoon. Later that day, Mohali Kings will meet Bathinda Royals in another important group-stage fixture.

On September 1, Ludhiana Lions will begin their campaign against Bathinda Royals in the afternoon fixture. As the league progresses, every result will become increasingly important in the race for the knockout stages.

Battle for the Semi-Finals

The league phase will feature a series of crucial matches as all six teams compete for a place in the final four. At the conclusion of the group stage, the top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals.

The knockout stage will take place on September 12, with both semi-finals scheduled on the same day. The first semi-final will see the Group A table-toppers face the team finishing second in Group B.

The second semi-final will feature the Group B leaders against the second-placed team from Group A. The winners of these two matches will secure their places in the grand final.

Final on September 13

The two semi-final winners will meet in the Sher-E-Punjab T20 League 2026 final on September 13. The winner of the decisive contest will be crowned champions and lift the league trophy.

With six franchises, 27 matches and a strong mix of experienced and emerging talent, the tournament is expected to provide a platform for Punjab’s cricketers to showcase their skills while delivering high-quality T20 entertainment.
